Recently the Vatican got a new pope, Pope Francis. Although in the eyes of many he still has some hate bound views he is probably the best the Vatican has ever had. The popes views are more open instead of the many hate filled closed minded views some of the past popes have been known for. In this article Pope Francis says "Churches are too obsessed with gays, and Abortion". Surprisingly this had very little backlash and was, in a way, He just said it and no one seemed to get upset.
Pope Francis is one of the most Humble popes ever. Just s very simple man who likes music books and enjoys life. He has a simple throne, the same shoes he had when he was a priest, and he still wears his Priest clothing underneath everything because he wants to remind himself he is still a priest. The message he is saying in this article is that if they don't start to be more accepting and lay off of gays and abortion then everything will fall apart. In my opinion i think hes right and he definitely has a point. The world is becoming more accepting, especially in the western world.
